my friend joe just finished a high compression ka build. everything has been shaved to minimum, 10.5:1cpr pistons, port and polish, and that thing pulls so hard(that was with no tune, he has sr injectors in the mail and a tune coming). it should be a great engine for autox and drifting.
i think u will see more then 215-220. i would say 230whp.
i would say go ahead and do the crankshaft. that way u dont have to tear into the lower end later. and u can be one of the first to try AMS's fully counter-weighted ka24de crank.
so excited to see this up and running! Its going to sound so good!
I think one of the biggest advantages you will have will be the fact that you are addressing tuning and not just running a reflashed ECU or an SAFC. You will be able to milk the true potential of all the goodies you have.

haha, alot of those parts are sitting waiting to go into my brothers KA. we're shooting for over 200whp with stock compression. I'm sure yours will do fine.
