Gabos 240sx build thread

Aight guys finally got my thread up n going..

i got my 240sx about a year ago, with minor damages in pretty good condition with a 98 ka and tranny swap in it with 50k miles, the car is super healthy n minor rust, the car was about 2,200 usd out the door.

heres the pic of wen i got it.


4 months after i got into an accident and fucked up almost the whole front of the car, damages included the radiator support (of course they seem to be made out of aluminum), bumper, hood, fenders ect....
so i decided to fix it myself. I used the old rope and tree trick to pull the rad support, and installed all the new body panels, this is the end result.

mind you that the tools used were a hammer, a rope and a tree.

after many months of driving it like a beater i decided to get it done professionally, now its on the shop and while i had it there i been doin diff upgrades to it.

front mount intercooler with bumper support adapted to fit.

Ichiba front n rear 5 lug swap

z32 front and rear brake swap

18x9.5 rear 18x8 front

Tein flex coilovers

rear flares custom fit.

Antenna hole shaved and covered.

Future plans:

Finish the turbo kit.

Advance Ams rebuild kit.

Full interior restoration.

Kouki taiights.

Full suspension upgrade.

Lsd, aluminum drive shaft, flywheel, clutch.

A rocket launcher and a Twin .50 caliber machine gun on each side of the car.

^talk about a PITA, and getting those pop up headlights aligned properly is harder than teaching a rooster to fetch.

Yeah I know.. I actually used a truck rather than a tree. It was alot more dangerous, but it did the job. My headlights are still cockeyed to this day.

lol, i used a tree at first but then i hauled it with my girls old ford focus. i also hammered the shit out of it to get it in shape tho.

I woulda pulled the fenders, or evened out the flares with the fender.. But those are nice too.

word. kits are so dang overrated anyways. i think 240's look soo much cleaner without a kit. or with a completely subtle kit. but kit-less ftw.

ok guys so shes painted!!! two tone, bmw metallic silver on the body and jet black on the top. looks awesome with the flares, will post pics pretty soooooooooooooooon.
