Red Dragon: Project 240SEX-E Coupe
This is my 240SX Drift Project. She looks a bit rough right now but she will get a fresh coat of matte black paint in the summer. I plan to do a SR20DET swap first.
My modification plans
- Matte Black Paint Job
- S13 SR20DET Motor and Transmission
- 6 Point Roll Cage
- Coilovers (Apexi N1)
- Sway Bars
- Energy Bushing Kit
- Hydraulic E-Brake
- Front Brake Line Lock
- VLSD Differential
- 17" or 18" Mesh wheels + tires

-Downpipe
-Turbo Elbow
- Boost Gauge
- Air/Fuel Gauge

-Fuel Pump (255)

- Wheels (Mesh or multi-spoke)
- Short Shifter
- Sway bars (aftermarket)
- Strut Bars, bracing, control arms, tie rods, Etc (anything suspension related)

-Power Steering Lines from DUAL CAM KA 1991-1998 Hi-Pressure and Return
-Radiator + Electric Fans + Hoses Kit (compatible with SR20 and S13)

Update January 22 2010.

A little update on the project.

I sprayed the car with some Rust black paint to cover up the primer. I plan on repainting the car matte black in the summer time. So its just a temporary fix.
I also sprayed the under body of the car with some under body coating.


I got my 1997 S14 Sr20det from JMI Japan Motor Import. Great people to deal with. Shipping was very fast.

I order some parts off frsport.com and ebay.

$1400 worth of parts.

I have clean up the sr20 motor and replaced the gaskets in the motor. Hopefully i can pull the ka24 out and get the SR20 to run during spring break. Stay tune.

SR20DET Camshaft Cap Bolts. I need 2 Medium Bolts (2.25 in) and 2 Short Bolts (1.5 in). Or the entire set.
