wiring a stanza electric dual fan in s13
First you have to remove mechanical fan and condensor fan. Then what i did was take my condisor fan motor(small electric fan in front of radiator) and replaced one of the dual fan motors with that motor, so that fan would connect to the factory wiring harness connector and will turn on when you turn the A/C (do not forget to connect the condensor fan connector together). On the stanza duel fan setup there are 4 wires, black, yellow, green and blue. the yellow and blue wires are for the 1st speed which is push and the black and green wires are for the 2nd speed which is pull. You want to use the black and green wires, you can tape off the other two wires you dont use. You run the green wire to a 12v ignition in the fuse box and ground the black wire. This will turn the fan on when you start the car and work in place of the belt driven fan which you should have already removed. Then you will notice that the dual fan shroud needs to be shaved down on the sides to fit behind the radiator, after you shave the sides down to fit install and zip tie or bolt the fan to the radiator. Then turn the ignition to the on position and see if the one fan come on and then start the car and turn on A/C and see if the other fan comes on. Then drive and take notice to the cooling gage and how it is cooling. also notice a little more power from no belt driven fan.
