rough idleing...

Ok here goes 1993 240sx ka24de 60,000 original miles here goes the problem car has trouble starting. The car will start with the help of giving it gas but when running the it idles from 400-1000 rpms and the whole car shakes. I've checked other threads and found alot of people haveing the same problems but never any solutions. The things I have done was checked the injectors one was a little off so I replaced it, I replaced the spark plugs and wires, replaced valve cover gasket, checked the temp sensor and the maf sensor. checked for vac leaks. The car is useing more gas than it should can go about 30 miles on a quarter tank nd the car has no mods. One problem I've seem to find is pulling the 4th plug on the injector has no effect to the engine doesn't idle higher and doesn't lose power. I unplugged the 3rd injector and hooked it to the 4th injector and still no change cause I do know the 3rd injector does fire due to unplugging it and the engine loses more power. The engine light hasn't come on so I have no clue any help would be appreciated...

Ouch

Well... besides the low compression on Cylinder 4...

Change the O2 sensor

And a silly question...

Do you have a Factory Service Manual for it?

rough idling is USUALLY:

Vacuum leak.

Bad Injector.

Leaking Injector lower O-ring seal.

If it still does it after the new O2, I'd inspect the Injector O-rings

Is it running Rich?

Smell gas out the tailpipe?

Remove your plugs, what do they look like?

Wet? White? Brown?

The rough idle is a bitch to chase down, you have to slowly eliminate things one by one...

Just a thought but it could be the idle control valve. Have you checked that yet?
