New to Nissan - GA local
guys/gals, new to Nissan but not the import scene. Usually deal with Honda but just bought my first Nissan - an SR-swapped '90 hatchback. Needs a good bit of work but for the price I paid, I couldn't pass on it. I will try to get a pic of it soon.

Welcome to the club of Correct-Wheel-Drive!
Did you find that thing on craigslist in Atlanta? I think I saw that a few times posted up haha.

I did indeed. Ran into a couple of 240 guys around me and I have now sourced a bunch of stuff for it too.

Graduating from Honda to Nissan is like hitting puberty. Its a totally different animal and so much more versatile.
Congratulations on the step up. I hope it suits you.
P.S. I'm in GA too northwest of Atlanta.

$3600 is what I paid. Sold my bike and bought this. I like it.

Try posting more and bigger pics. It's kind of hard to tell much from that avatar-size shot.

I will get more pics tomorrow when I have access to my camera. It's a work in progress and it is a little beat up on the outside.

Technically, I have two. This one is the reason why I am here though.

Oh.
This car was a heck of a contradiction compared to that.

Yup. It's cool though. I am an import fan at heart regardless of what I drive which is why I went back to one. I am loving it so far even though it needs some work. Got wheels and some electronics on the way.

That's good to hear. Hopefully things don't get too complicated for you.

Hopefully not. Since the swap is already done, it's just tuning from here.

Did the previous owner have all the receipts or are you just hoping he got it all right?

Expecting the worse and hoping for the best. He bought it from a guy already swapped who bought the motor from somewhere local to me. I wanna get it to someone that knows Nissan swaps and have them look at it to give me some more insight.
I am currently tossing around the idea of getting a coupe shell and swapping over the stuff to it. I prefer coupes to hatchbacks.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...
"Once you go coupe, hatchback is poop."

We shall see as time goes by though. Gotta work some bugs out of the tuning first and then go from there. My car is beat up a little but I prefer function over form.
