Best time was 8.99 @ 88 mph. My vid is worthless :-( I had a "mount" to hold my iPhone between headrests but it broke the second I launched. After it broke again on my second run I gave up. Oil change this weekend. switching to 10w-40 and new filter for ARC box. Getting a k&n filter.

Filter and oil change done. She's loving the new filter. However even 10w-40 I have 90 psi startup and 20psi at idle. Wtf... Do I seriously need to drop down to 5w-30?

Nothing's wrong with it. I've already checked pickup a long time ago and replaced oring. This SR only has around 50k miles on it. I think it might be too thick of oil still.

at idle the oil pressure should be about 10 psi when at operational temp. at around 3-4k rpms you should have full pressure of about 70-80 psi. is the standard assuming the revs dont go any higher then 8k.
you should only run 10w-40 if the manufacturer calls for it or if the mileage is above 80k from using 5w-30. you bump up the viscosity about every 80-90k miles to ensure proper lubrication just a little lube tech info for you.

Fuck a duck. Ugh. I don't want to spend another fucking 70$ for oil and a filter. And yes the pickup had RTV in it and after I cleaned it out and threw the Greddy pan everything was great.

70 bucks sounds good over washed out bearings, they tend to disintegrate when that happens

When what tends to happen? When the oil system has too much pressure?

Well not much new. Coil pack cover. lol. was having issues where car would clck with no power so i went through and rewired a BUNCH of shit at the fusebox, battery cable/lower harness junction, etc and under the dash for the ignition harness at the push start module. Car is MUCH happier now. I have angle rings for my gauges on the way. However, I'm boosting at around 11 psi, I think my waste gate actuator may have a tear in it

Well, it's getting colder out. And two things happened.
1. CCA on my battery must be going out, lol
2. Knocking noise under my valve cover. Only at idle when warmed up. Def not ticking, too slow for bottom end. Goes away after 1500rpms. Valve lash?? :-/

What oil weight you using? Might have to lighten up so it flows better when cold. Block heaters are nice too.
