I seen that on nistune. Are you using a lc1 with aux box to bring in the other inputs?

dumb, sorry, I just read over the other box and answered my own question. I was mostly consirned with looking at the table when I looked it it the first time. Got too excited and posted too early, sorry.

edit: I also wondered, do you not scale it for higher rpms? I change my fuel rpm and ignition rpm scales to have the same values as each other but give myself resolution up to 8krpm

I believe there are programs where you can run windows programs on macs. I think that is your best bet.

Hi, I'm new to the forum but I've been reading the ecu tuning section since I picked up this old 240.
I'm currently in the middle of an sr20 swap and I want the ability to tune the engine well. I've got all the parts this thread recommends to ROM burn.
I haven't got the car running yet because I'm still doing the install. I have the engine mounted but I'm currently hooking up all the plumbing still and then I have to run a new(used) front-end engine harness before I'm ready to try and start it. I will start it with the stock ECU and get all the bugs out of it for basic operation but then I want to check out the air fuel and clean it up.
Here is what I have:
1995 240sx
stock SR20 ECU installed and harness spliced to original engine harness
backup SR20 ECU + daughterboard installed ready when I'm ready to tune
nissan datascan
blazt consult device
willem burner PCB50

AEM standalone wideband
TunerPro software

The instructions with the willem burner seem pretty sketchy and I've never used one before. I've been reading and found that it requires both the USB and parallel port to be hooked up to operate but I'm not sure if that is correct or not.
So my questions are:
Is there a guide that lists the settings on the burner, or a step-by-step guide to get it ready?
(I'd like to plug in the eproms from the daughterboard and read the code that is in there and compare with the stock BIN)
Can I run a Ford MAF when I'm ready to tune and plug in my own MAF function into the code without any electrical adaption aside from the sensor plug?

I really just need to strike up some dialogue as I move forward so I can get comfortable with the things I need to do. Any help is appreciated.

eeprom burners dont share the same dip settings as other burners. our manual SHOULD show you the correct dip settings for the chips. usually 27c256 or 27sf512

you can run the MAF as long as you have the correct vq table; correct me if im wrong.

okay thanks. The software does show dip settings but it lists so many chips that I don't know which ones are specific to the 27c512. Are the 27sf512 chips erasable/reprogrammable?
