Cool Blinking Corner Light "How To"

I searched everywhere for someone to show me how to do this. All I keep getting is these crapy ass sketch drawings and long ass descriptions. As you can see frum my spelling, I am a guy that needs lots of pictures. So I took the liberty of doing it myself and posting pictures for all of U who wanna know how. Hope this helps. Oh, sorry for the blurry pictures, camera actin funny.

Tools: Wire cutters/strippers + Low gauge wire.

I took my bumper off because I was working on another project. Made things a lot more accessable.

Locate your blinker and corner lamp hook-up.

Your corner light will have two wires which are BLACK + Red, and the blinker will also have two wires that are Green + Black.

On the Corner light, cut the black wire and strip the plastic tip.

On the blinker, ONLY strip the green wire. Its totally up to you if U wanna cut it and go the extra step putting it back together. "I Just stripped Mine"

Attach your wire to the stripped green wire on the blinker. Patch it up, I reccomend electric tape.

Attach the other end to the Black wire on the corner light. PATCH IT UP. AND UR ALL DONE!

Now when you use your turn signals your blinkers and corner lights will blink simultaneously.

this looks super easy thanks... but what about when you have your headlights/corners on... will they still blink alternately?

When your headlights/corner lights are on, they will blink... When your corner lights are off, but your blinkers are on, say for instance your hazards, the corners will not blink. They just have to be active.

no those aren't mine. (can't justify spending 400-500 for those.)

clear corners and clearcorners.com are different. mike owns clearconers.com and he does custom led modification for lights. they are also very expensive.

although i'm gonna try to custom them myself.

well thanks to this post, i've now done a bunch of "light mods" to my car...lol

I did the front turn/parking light thing, then I did it to the rear, then I decided to be real cool and make my reverse lights alternate, but it wasnt near as easy. they blink back and forth about twice as fast as the turn signal does....

If anyone wants to do this, I can do a nice writeup, but you have to buy a flasher module and a relay...both available at autozone for a few dollars a piece. just putting this in the air to see if anyone is interested
