Exhaust Silencer is stuck. Tips?

I've been trying to get out my silencer from my exhaust for the past couple days, but it won't budge. Anyone have tips for removing it?

So far I've tried soaking it in PB blaster, using a screw driver in the bolt hole to pry it out (got it out a bit), and i also tried pulling it out with a hammer ( i attached the bolt to the mounting hole and used the "claw" part of the hammer to try to pull out the silencer)

lol. the pb blaster soaked for 2 days already =/

i already asked a friend of mine to fabricate/copy a tool that might help (silencer removal tool from aspec) at his work, but i'm still trying random stuff to pull it out since he can't use his shop on weekends.

Try reving your motor a bunch of times and see if the exhaust gases will help push it out.

Unbend a clotheshanger and stick the curvey end in, hook it on the engine side of the silencer and pull.

i already tried revving it a bunch of times after a long run.
---
the muffler is used.. by me for the past 2 years. i bought it new, but i decided on getting a silencer off ebay so i can slap that on for trips down to san diego.
---
i'm gonna try something similiar to the hanger idea.

A slide hammer is a tool used by body shops to pull fenders and dents out, etc. But you can usually rent one at your local parts store with all the attachments. That should do the trick!

a slide hammer is also a 20kg dumbell on the end of a wire or chain.

Ghetto Slide Hammer:
get a large bolt and 2 nuts and a piece of chain - not too thick
put one nut on bolt about 2/3 down, thread last link of chain onto bolt, put other nut on the bolt to secure the chain on
put the bolt in through the silencer hole so it sits inside the muffler - turn the bolt so it catches against the rim of the silencer
attach other end of chain to something heavy like a weight, sledgehammer etc then swing the weight away from the muffler. This should provide enough force to pull the silencer out

finally got it out. didn't get to try out the ghetto slide hammer method because my friend fabricated a hook long enough to slide inside the silencer had enough room to hit it out with a mallet.

thanks for the tips!
