As you can see this is a complete kit. There are no other parts needed to complete the installation. This is a big brake kit for any Nissan 240sx. The calipers are four piston calipers, which are a big increase in piston size as opposed to the single piston caliper that originally came on the car. The drilled, slotted and vented rotors are professionally built with CNC machines, and zinc plated to prevent rusting. These rotors have diamond slots. This eliminates dust build up at the end of the slot and helps dissipate gasses evenly through out the rotor. All rotors are drilled to fit any stock four or five lug 240sx bolt pattern (which is 4x4.5 and 5x4.5). The steel braided brake lines are custom made to fit this brake kit for easy installation. They are also government DOT approved just like the stock brake lines that come on new cars from the factory today. So you can believe they will not have any safety problems. They are also steel braided with a layer of clear lamination to prevent expansion of the line under pressure. The ceramic brake pads are made by Posi Quiet. They have over 25% increase in pad surface area when compared to the stock 240sx brake pads. They are very quiet and smooth. If you don't want the brake pads you can subtract $20 from the final price. This brake kit will make your 240sx stop so much faster after it is installed. These brakes are off a car that weight about the same as your 240sx but had a twin turbo v6 engine with 300hp. It was considered one of the fastest cars made in the 90’s. This kit will fit all 240sx cars with the stock 4x4.5 and 5x4.5 bolt patterns.

As you can see this is a complete kit. There are no other parts needed to complete the installation. This is a big brake kit for any Nissan 240sx. The calipers are two piston calipers, which are a big increase in piston size as opposed to the single piston caliper that came on the car from the factory. This brake kit will fit all 240sx cars with the stock 4x4.5 and 5x4.5 bolt patterns.
the calipers are the regular 300zx turbo calipers in aluminum.
i decided to try to sell these kits for now before i spend a lot of money to make the bracket for the rear kit. if these kits sell i'll know that people actually want brake kits and then i'll start selling the rear kit. since i don't want to invest a lot of money and be stuck with it.
Are they complete bolt on? Like does it require adapter plates? I get always thought they complete did but your kit doesn't show any. And 26mm aluminum calipers are what i'm looking for :-)
this isen't really a group bye. you can order these kits anytime you want. just go to my website or you can just message me and i'll give you directions on how to order and send money. my website is http://silverminemotors.com/main.sc
the aluminum calipers are Extremely hard to find and all i have left in stock right now is one more complete kit. so if you want to order it i woulden't hesitate to do so.
but yes the kits are completely bolt on and they don't require any other parts to be installed.
the braided brake lines replance the stock ones. they are exactley the same as the brake line you would get if you went to your local auto parts store and said "i need a brake line for my 240sx". The only difference is that the end pieces are different depending on which kit you decide to get.
iis there a way to adpat the same front calipers to the rear with a hydrualic e brake form k sport im looking to see who makes the adapter plate for the rear any advice
I haven't herd of anyone making a bracket like that, and i don't make it either. It is a bad idea since using a line lock as a e-brake would ruin the pistion seals in the caliper. E-brakes have to be mechanical.
Question.. this would be the first thing i've ever done to my stock s14. If I get the Stage 3 brake upgrade would I be fine with my existing master cylinder or would I need to upgrade that as well? I'm assuming the rotors match the s14 bolt pattern
Yes the rotors will fit your bolt pattern. Your stock master cylinder will work. Many people like to get the bigger one but it is not necessary, especially if you are getting the stage 3 kit. With that kit you have two smaller pistons as opposed to one big one. So it is not a huge difference in the volume of fluid that is being used. I say get the kit and see how you like the feel before you make your decision. I can probably get you a master cylinder if you want one.
The calipers do not come powder coated. They are sand blasted though.
I’d like to make an announcement. I’m lowering the price of both kits by $30 to all 240sxforum members.
