S13 with a S14 turbine..any big difference?

Hello all..New here.

I am reciving my car in about a hour.A S13 silvia Blue..I bought it off yahoo auctions in japan. One of the things done to the car is a turbo change a s14 turbo has been installed in the older S13 sr20det. I was wondering is there a difference in HP with just the turbo change?

As this car was located far from me to go look at or drive it i was wondering if you could tell me the difference.I will post pics on it when i receive it today.

other things that it came with=

5 lug conversion with upgraded R33 brakes..2way lsd..2 full bride bucket seats..muffler..a couple of gauges. and full tap suspension. all costs were $3000.00 for total car..i need to put plates and resgister it thats all.

Im glad to have joined 240sxclub..as i dont speak much japanese and def dont read it..so i will be doing alot to the car..and need some ENGLISH HELP for sure..

from the sound of it i dont think he is in the us.. idk though but sick car post pics please i want to see this beast. as for the turbo the only real difference is that it will have less miles on it

yeah, im in japan...S14 dual ball bearing turbo is a bigger turbo(go look it up) than the S13 one..i have it hooked up now...straight bolt on...ar60 compared to ar84 or something like tht on the s13. right now its much faster than the stock S13 with the stock S13 turbo. Shop says i should wait till i get a bigger IC to compensate not than im running .95 bar instead of stock .7bar.

ill post pics when i get car froom shop...power steering leaking bad..had to get it fixed..before i cold take photos

Boo! Just replace the rack yourself. Haha... Sound's like a neat little car. I am not familure with the sr20 crap but you might want to watch the blow off or bypass valve, whatever they run. I would say if your pushing alot more pressure your going to want to upgrade that ASAP. Also, im sure it is fine but whats the diffrence between the lubricating systems for the turbo? Dont want to burn that bitch up. Good luck with the car.

i would replace myself..but dont have the time..we are on a time schedule here with inspection..i got the parts so the shop im just paying for labor not parts..since auctions here so cheap i save alot of money for used parts.

Promise i will post those pics as soon as i get the car back.
