With a .94 A/R? You positive the 264's are gonna push the powerband high enough to use a .9/4 AR turbo?

My turbo was personally spec'd and sponsored by Precision Turbo's owner: Harry.

He is one of the most knowledgeable turbo experts in the world, and i trust his opinion over anyone else.

Tomei Poncams are already in the car, but I'll consult with you next time before I make any other purchase.

I think the 264's are fine, it wouldn't hurt anything going with 272's but he already has the 264's so i would just leave them.

Get out of here with your high and mightyness. OMG you have Tomei poncams. I got a whole head full of Tomei so shove it. Might wanna check out members rides before trying to talk down to people.

I gave you simple feedback due to small ammount of experiance but that's OK. You go consult with your specialists. I'll make my own decisions.

hes not being high and mighty, you stated your opinion once he gave you his answer and you still came back and did it again. Its his build.

The motor is already ready to go. Its not going to effect his #'s that much. Always something he can do later down the road.

My head is sponsored by Ferrea, and I worked with them extensively while determining the correct mods for the head.

For the GT4088R we are running, I think the 264's will be great.

Anything larger and the 272's would be the right fit.

But those Tomei Poncams have proven themselves time and time again, and I feel very comfortable with this setup.

That is just to help explain what it is for.

I am having a piece custom fabricated that will take up about 1/3 as much room as that long pipe in the photos.

That should cut down on the over oiling issue in the head, and will feed directly back into my oil pan with a -12 fitting I am welding on.

Kinda like these?

, I just ripped off Carl H's Idea with two smaller plugs so I didn't have to bother with getting a massive fitting made.

Yeah, but I believe the -12 AN fitting in the exact center of the head should have greater flow back to the oi pan.

I dont know how high you plan to spin the motor, but our motor can rev to 9500+ in current form and that's ALOT of oil being forced up to the head.

If you are using the RB25DET Head, then you need to weld one of the head feed ports shut, as the RB26DETT Head already has this done from the factory.

Then you need to get a Tomei Restrictor and put it in the single oil feed hole.

All done minus the welding in part... I didn't block any passages just restricted since I'm not running solid lifters, I just dont trust doing that on hydros. Nor did I place an n1 pump or crank collar on. I'll do that part when the block is built. Darius is having serious issues getting his hydros to bleed properly after he installed his passage block.

Ill only be spinning to 7700-7800 max. This was just a safety thing for road racing days.

9500 is up there, should sound amazing.

Well, the decision was made to go with a Ford C4 Tranny w/transbrake and GearVendors Overdrive Setup. This should allow the car to remain very streetable, yet a solid performer on the drag strip.

If not, I have decided to go with Performance Automatics http://www.performanceautomatic.com/transc4.htm and the PA26107 Super Comp Tranny w/Transbrake, as this is supposed to be the top of the line performance C4 tranny on the market.

PA offers a lifetime warranty, and will replace the tranny if it fails. That speaks volumes about their quality.

After talking with Ivan @ AMS, and Dane@ Desynz Motorsport in Australia, it's a no brainer.

In Australia, they make a Cast Conversion Bellhousing to mate the RB block to the C4 tranny. This will be great, as the swap will be clean, and it should look like it belongs in the tunnel.

I'm still curious on how this car will hold up with the 4.08 OEM rearend.

No worries, as BF Goodrich is the main sponsor on the car, and getting tires has not be an issue thus far.

Yesterday, Andy at Southern Imports in Murfreesboro, TN (Mechanic on Project 240SX) installed the Mazworx Axles w/Hubs (http://www.mazworx.com) and SPL Pro Aluminum Subframe Fushings. (www.splparts.com)

A little brake cleaner and some black spray paint really improved the look of the spindles.

As you probably notice, the threads on the hubs are extended for use with aftermarket drag wheels.
