As soon as Summer ends and the car is finished with the BFG Tour, GT4202R or GT45R and C4 Auto tranny are going in the car. (And the car has plenty of nitrous to spool them.)

Eliminates torsional crankshaft vibrations.

Taken from a marketing piece:

Speed by Design (Setrab Model #925) Oil Cooler Kit for the 240SX

Whats that kit run? looks pretty damn nice.

$585 shipped with the 925, which is WAY larger than any other RB Oil Kit on the market.

Even the HKS uses a much smaller setup.

It is also thermostatically controlled, so that is allows the motor to heatup. Once the oil temperatures reach 180 degrees, it opens to allow cooling of the oil.

Very trick kit.

Yesterday, Andy (Southern Imports in Murfreesboro, TN) began finishing out the fuel system, which should be done today.



Up Next was the Exedy Triple Disc Clutch, special thanks to the team at Exedy for their support over the years.









Ran the -10 AN Lines from Desynz Motorsports Oil Return Mod from the back of the head to the oilpan, as seen in the following two photos.





Finished the lines to the cooler, so that mission is completed.

its going to be well worth the wait. that motor is such a beast. i dont even want to begin to think of how much cash is tied up in that car. i think that oil cooler is bigger than my radiator..

The wastegate had to be moved to fit into the 240SX engine bay.

Hey everyone I would like to take a second to introduce myself. My name is Andy Vaughn and I work at a shop in Murfreesboro, TN called Southern Imports. I am fairly new to the motorsports scene, but I’m determined to make a name for myself. Chris has given me the chance to work on his wonderful project drag car with high hopes of having a fast, show worthy 240. I truly have learned a ton about RB’s with the help of Kenny at RB Motoring and Dane at Desynz Motorsports. I am more than happy to share what I have learned, though I am limited on time (I work two jobs and I have a wife and a son).
