RB25det S1 or S2

i was wondering what the difference between the s1 and s2 rb25 was and how to tell the differance between the 2 or what one is better

There is really no difference between them. A series 1 has an igniter on the back of the cover plate and the series 2 has it integrated with each coilpack. The series 2 is newer, but other than that no big difference. Some people say it's easier to find parts for a series 1 RB25det.

do they use differnt parts ? or are they the same parts for both motors?

Some things, like CAS might be different. Internals should be the same. I am not 100%

The majority of the parts are interchangeable. The coils and CAS I believe are different but other than that I haven't noticed anything different.
