Clutch and flywheel problem. HELP!!!

I just tried to install a clutch on my Rb25DET and it doesen't fit. It is one of those ebay AIMCO XTD, stage three, 6 puck for a 90-96 NA 300zx. The clutch disk is bigger than my old one and the pressure plate is too big for the flywheel(the holes didn't line up). I thought the RB25's take the same clutch as the 300zx NA. Does anyone know whats going on?

I called AIMCO and the guy gave me measurements...
TT: 9 7/8in -->25.08cm
NA: 9 7/16in-->23.97cm<----I have this one(I measured so I'm sure)

My old clutch:
8 15/16in-->22.7cm

My flywheel:
OD: 30.4cm
Pressure plate surface: 23.4cm

I looked on the ACT website and their 300zx NA clutch is 24cm and the Twin Turbo is 25cm which is practically the same as the XTD's rounded off.

Also...just to make sure, is the RB25 and RB20 flywheel and clutch exactly the same? I have a RB20 tranny so if there are differences in the flywheels then I might have the wrong clutch or the right clutch and the wrong flywheel????

I have the rb25 motor with rb20 tranny and the ACT n/a 300zx 6-puck fit fine. Maybe your flywheel was changed over to the rb20 one when the previous owner put the rb20 tranny on. I'm assuming I still have the rb25 flywheel.

I'm beginning to think I hve a KA flywheel. I checked the ACT website and the KA clutch is 22.5cm and my old one I said was 22.7cm.

The RB20 flywheel is Very similar to the KA, I know that...it might even be the same. I had an auto clip and an RB20 trans/flywheel/clutch thrown on the clip for my motoring pleasure....

I'm still confused which flywheel takes the 300zx clutch. There is a guy in the for sale section selling his car with rb20. He has a tophat flywheel made for the rb20 and he has the 300zx clutch. Some people are saying that they're using the 300zx clutch in their rb25.

From what I understand, the RB25 AND the RB20 use the 300ZX clutch, but....

The Nissan part numbers for the RB25DET clutch pad series one (8/93-4/94)30100-21U01 and after 4/94 is 30100-21U02. Pressure plate part number is 30210-21U00.

Thos numbers do not directly cross reference any Z32 clutch number.

The Flywheel for your car should have a part number of 12310-21U00 and the Z32 is 12310-30P10 or 12310-30P12.

I dont know what is interchangable, but I DO know that they dont have the same part number.
