i just got a new camera and i will be doing this process at my schools shop so i'll post pictures soon!! i have an s13 btw!!!

It's these ^ or thats What that guy told me they were.....i mean both the part numbers for the 240sx and 300xz are the same so i thought they'd work....there shouldn't be a difference but there obviously is!!!!
those look about right....did you completely torqe it down? did you put the bushings in upside down? its easy to make small mistakes that can worsen your problem. Also, im only eyeing the red ones, so the could be too tall, but i doubt it, since its the same 300zx bushings that i used.

make sure you take any spacers you had previously OUT.

i'm pretty damn sure that they are tightened down enough and this wobble is WAY too severe to be just a slight torqueing issue!!! I just went and tourqued them down and it didn't change at all!!!

I have been in contact with a parts guy from mynismo.com so i will let you guys know how it goes and hopefully you guys won't have to go through the same shit i did!!!

Has anyone installed the Energy z32 bushings for the diff carrier? I am trying to do this now, and I am wondering if the 2 rear bushings (the ones near the rear of the car) need to be burned out or can they be hammered out?

yeah i have the same question about other ways of getting the bushings out.......is there a tool that you could use...im doing the swap in a pay-to-use garage, and im not paying extra for a clean up fee.....so is there a tool out there that a person could use to get those things out???

put something under the subframe so that the rubber doesn't go on the floor - done

I've done the solid ones, which is nice, and the only thing that is different is getting the remaining ring out.

Since this is the be all end all of bushings threads I have a question and need some advice. I have a 95 S14 base model with a shitload of miles on it (pushing the 275K mark) and I have a really nasty bumpsteer problem. I just got the alignment done back in Sept. and while it toned it down a little it's still a major problem, I know I have a bent lower rear control arm on the drivers side, but don't have the money to fix the problem and haven't been able to source a used one. Now my question is this, will my bumpsteer problem be the result of dead bushings or blown shocks/struts or a combination of both? Seeing as the bushings are the least expensive of the options I want to put the money out to replace them but at the same time if I do and it just makes the problem worse because the struts/shocks are blown. While I'd like to replace all parts I just don't have the money for that.

^wow bro I would have to say you wasted your money on the alignment, can you do the work your self? I know there people out there that have parts to sell for cheap to help you out and yout car. but to go in to detail is not for this section, but now the bushing alone will not help your "bump steer". but what do I know... really I don't know anymore

Anyway, great thread!!!! I need to do this! but I think I perfer to try to press them out, how hard could it be.... no really does anyone know?

For the life of me I cannot find a solid answer to what bushings will work on the s13. I've looked everywhere. I can only find stock rubber bushings or solid metal bushings but I want to do poly. Please forgive me if this is obvious or something but if anyone can point me in the right direction please let me know.
