i think it can handle 300-350 on stock internals and max safe boost would be around 14

buut im sure im wrong so someone correct me

from what I remember, the highest safe numbers a stock bottom end rb25det would be 450-500, anything after that is a gamble because of the ring-landings. Max boost on a stock rb25 turbo is 14psi, but even at that the turbo's been known to blow because of the ceramic wheel's inability to withstand higher boost. keep a stock turbo at 12 to be safe. As for the aftermarket turbo... make sure you have all the proper supporting mods like injectors, engine management, etc. and have replaced the basic parts that came on the motor (i.e. water pump, belts, oil pump, etc.) before you upgrade the turbo.

you should do alot more searching before cranking the power... but I've scene an RB25 on bone stock internals even the original head gasket and timing belt put down 587hp. Have the dyno sheet to prove. he held the record with highest stock rb25 horsepower for awhile and was beat by a stock rb25 with a shot of NOS that put down like 605 I think...

the 587hp run was at 21 psi I think...

why even post if you're sure you're wrong

you see 500+ hp on stock internal rb's every once in a while but the question is how long will they last..
20 psi aint bad.

Unhappy Help!!!!

i have a small question to ask you cause you are very helpful, ok you know that the rb25det come with stock 370cc fuel injectors right,if you increase the boost to 13psi or 14psi on the stock turbo, do you also have to increase fuel psi to get hp or onces you increase the boost you will automaticly get hp, also does this work with every car with turbo??? please help
