Tomei Vs. HKS Turbo

Ok So I have been looking at these two trubos for my build and I have done all the research on them and I was wanting some honest opinions on both of the turbos. The tomei is supposedly rated for 450ps (about 443 hp) and the HKS is rated to 400hp. The Tomei is journal bearing and the HKS is ball ball bearing...both are internally waste gated t25 flange turbos so install will be about the same. SO what do ya'll think??

Tomei 173020 M8270 ARMS Turbo Kit SR20DET S13 S14 S15

HKS GT-RS Bottom Mount Turbo Kit : SR20DET

Thanks

both high end brands. I guess its up to preference at that point. as for me, I'd go with the journal bearing, even though the hks one is ball bearing. why? cause I think journal bearings last a bit longer than ball bearing turbos. but i've never used a ball bearing turbo; so...

The only thing that worries me about the Tomei having journal bearings is the spool time...both being bigger turbos than the t25 I know the spool time will be slower but I don't know if I will be happy with the jourmal bearing spool time....IDK

It should still spool fairly quick. If your worried about spool time then I'd just go with a GT2871R.

What other mods do you have done?
Are you looking to stay with a T2 Bottom Mount set-up? Wanting to go T3 top Mount?

it'd be cheaper to stay with a t2 so you can reuse most if not all of your parts you already own.

If he went T3 the only things he would need to change would be Manifold, Downpipe and the Hot pipe for the IC. I would go for a GT2871R with a .86 A/R or a HTA Modded GT2860RS.

If I went top mount it would be so longe before I had all the parts together...i don't like to mess around with cheaper mediocre parts....I like to buy quality parts ONCE and be able to rely on them...plus I already have a tubular bottom mount mani so I would really like to get the life out of that before switching to something else...
