Not that new of news. For around 3-4k more you can find them with a fully built tomie head and head gasket with arp head studs.

For the people that think that is way too much I remember seeing stroker kits a few years ago going for 8k and you didnt get the block or anything like that, plus you still had to assemble it.

I think the tomie engines can be a good deal in some respects. You get all new or rebuild parts ranging in brand names from oem nissan, tomie, and arp. Not to mention that tomie put the engines together and stamped their name on it (meaning its a good engine).

Might be expensive but for some people knowing for sure that everything was 100% done correctly, its worth it. I only wish I could afford a tomie engine.

However, some people like the fact that all of the research, guess work, physical work and leg work is taken care of in favor of a singular price tag.

But seriously, even if you found the most expensive machine shop, paid 200% what the parts are worth, you could build an 800 hp bottom end for like 3500 bucks.
