200sx OBD II

Are all the 200sx equiped with a OBD II system or is it only in california?

And if they are can i just order a SR20de from sr-swap and get rid of this problem?

I would like to push around 400hp's on this car.

i dont understand the problem, my car is a 95. If you swap a DET in your 200, use the factory wiring harness and send the factory ecu to JWT for appropriate tuning, or you could use the factory ecu + an S-AFC, or another piggyback fuel controller.

so basically there would be no problem for me if i swap the stock engine for a DET lets from SRSWAP

The thing about the system is that i heard that it can give cops certain information and its also capably of doing other things that i dont really know but i really dont want to drive a car that cops know what the hell i got under the hood.

All they have to do is pop the hood to know what you have. Plus if you have emissions it won't pass visual. When it comes down to it, it is illegal.
