Welcome! Your best bet for parts will literally be Facebook groups. There's always someone parting something out.

Hi I'm Joseph, the owner of a 1989 240sx with 54k original miles that I'm trying to sell, I feel bad modding such an original car that's why it's stock.

The S15 suspension is the same as S14, so any articles on swapping S14 to S13 should be relevant. If you're doing the brake swap, the rotors from S15 are the same as 300zx, and there are plenty of articles on that swap as well. May want to upgrade your booster/master at the same time.

Hi Corpus! Thank you for your reply! Here is what I have going on!!

I have a 89 s13 Coupe, I bought s15 rotors, brakes, axles, spindles, and adjustable arms ( s13 ),

my question is, I have been looking everywhere as to WHAT exactly would i need to put all my s15 parts into my s13

I know ( for example ) for s14 ---> s13 you would need either the LCA or lower ball joint off of a s14 to be pressed into the LCA of the s13,

BUT what all would i need or need to modify to get everything in? anything would help thank you for looking~!

My main goal was to do a 5 lug swap and some friends told me the s15 was the best way to go because of strength, i came across it all and now i want it in ASAP! haha

and also THIS IS GOING TO BE A TRACK CAR street maybe one day after its all put together and done, but for now its going on the track,

i already have a ls1 and t56 trans for it, looking to get better heads, intake, and looking for a good turbo kit for the ls1 but first i need to get this sucker rolling! this car is 100% STOCK and already torn down to the bone! so its ready! metal for the roll cage should be getting here in a day or two i would like to have all of this installed before the cage material gets here!! ( talking about the suspension )

Like I said, the swap would be similar from S14 to S13. S15 axles are different and have a 30 spline output as opposed to 29. You'd probably be better of with Z32 rear end/axles. I'm honestly just learning myself too though.

Anyone ever use this on a 240? Seems like a pretty good option since I have an old 3 hole wheel my dad used in circle track racing

Welcome! I wouldn't say 240sx's break down a lot. In fact with the original motor in them or a properly done swap with a healthy motor they're quite reliable in my experience. Beat to hell drift cars are unreliable but that is as true of a BMW as it is of a Nissan. I bought my fairly beat to shit '89 240sx hatch about 5 years ago and did all of the standard maintenance and have had no problems at all until my very recent electrical/grounding problem. Hopefully your car is in good shape. Good Luck!

Hey guys! Definitely new here, but I'm stoked to be a part of such an awesome car community! I'm 17 years old, and we just traded my restored 1974 MGB for a '95 S14. This 240 is swapped with a 4.3L Vortec V6 with a Holley 450 carburetor, so buying parts is going to be a little different. I'm open to any advice you guys might have, as well as suggestions. I've also considered buying a 6666 or Seibon Aero Kit, but the only issue I am experiencing is the fact that the engine hangs lower than the bottom of the car itself, so coilovers or any type of lowering option is a no go. Like I said, if you guys have any suggestions or recommendations, I'm all ears! I just want this car to stand out more than it already does, and I'm glad I have this forum to help. Thanks again!

I am a human i am rebuilding my 4th 240's ka24de had a question.

Howdy,

I am having trouble figuring out what the hell this crush washer type seal is, where it goes and which direction, it is from my rebuild seals kit, I know one came out of my K, hoping someone can ID it, once I can post an image. I currently have a 1997 kouki with a jdm front and I blew the motor with a bad temp sensor and some idiocy, felt it was time to rebuild one. Mislabeling will kill you though.

thanks all

Didn't even realize this was a thing. Picking up my first s chassis this weekend. 93 coupe rolling shell. Gonna be building a light KA-T (250-300HP) and using it for local drift events/fun car.
