Nothing wrong with drifting the stock motor and keeping it as a daily. I've done it and so have many others. If you're dead set on a motor, get one based on your budget and affordability of parts. If something breaks on an RB motor, chances are you won't find available parts on hand and will have to wait for them. 1J and 2J parts are available but can be costly depending on the quality of parts you buy. SR20s are a dime a dozen and parts everywhere, and you'll be able to repair/upgrade parts faster. If you're wanting to drift and have it as a daily, dont' be hasty in turning it into a missile car/hoonbro/aintcare type of build.
