Bags or coilovers

I just got s13 and I was wondering which way to go with this build. Bags or coilovers opinions?

I have always thought coilovers to be superior but lately, my opinion has been changing over the bags just due to the convenience they provide with on the fly adjustable ride height. Id say go with some nice bags and enjoy the ability to raise or lower on demand.

It depends on your intent for the car. If you're taking the car on the track, coilovers. If it's just for cruising or show, bags.

Agreed with RikRong... If you want to float like a boat, cruise with a booze, and be a show-er (not a grower)... then bags it is. If you actually want to drive your purpose built RWD chassis and take her to the track for some seat time... I suggest coilovers. It's crazy how much small suspension tuning can change the way a car feels and reacts in the corners. I've never understood "show car S-Chassis builds", but to each their own. I completely respect a quality built 240sx in show car condition (I personally prefer stockish looks with OEM/JDM aero, etc), but I would still want to throw it around a few corners. I guess it's because I just run my car into walls.

Side Note: Make sure to add a roll cage if you go with air suspension... so you have a place to mount your cup holders and tanks.

You could always get the best of both worlds....

I've always had coilovers. Never liked the idea of having bagged coilovers and just learned where I could and couldn't drive to. Get what you feel comfortable with.
