Due to past events this year, we feel it necessary to add a couple of changes to the forum's policy on flaming and/or de-railing.
Firstly, from now on newbs are allowed to post new threads or use the Intro Thread for their welcome.
NO FLAMING OF ANY KIND WILL BE TOLERATED IN ANY PART OF THE FORUM AT ALL. NEWBIES, REGULARS, OG'S, ETC.
No exceptions, no excuses. Nothing. There will be consequences.
Secondly, there are two types of threads. Serious threads and threads that are made for the fun of the topic.
If a thread you've just opened is of a person who has an serious announcement or is asking an serious question, don't disrespect that member by crapping on his/her thread. Should you decide to contribute nothing usefull or something pointless and/or unecessary, it'll be deleted or edited.
That's strike one.
Strike two comes as a verbal after, and three will be the ban.
First ban is a week.
Second a month.
Third is year.
After that, it'll be permanent.
If you can't wise up after a year, then it would seem a bit pointless to keep the inevitable from happening.
Now, if you run into a thread that was posted for the purpose of entertainment, go to town on it. But use good judgment when it comes to derailing.
This is by no means meant to make this forum a worse place, or stricter than a nun whacking your hand with a ruler. This is a way to keep the peace and allow everyone their chance.
That is all.
I know you learned your lesson though... never slow down when the cops start to follow you.
