240sx_Dreams Hatch

TopazBrandon I can't decide. I've only owned a hatchback so far. I'm considering buying a coupe. For the wide body drift style I'll say the hatchback. For the really low look I'll say the coupe. I like the coupe with the bn sports kit and 326 power wing. I like the hatchback with bn sports kit with a BCL wing. I Litarally can't decide and I can only pick 1. I guess which ever RHD SR20 240sx comes up first. I'll take.

sorry if this is off subject just wondering?
I laughed a little at this, don't know why.

Fastback = Hatchback.
180sx is the Japanese Market Hatchback, pop-up headlights.
Silvia is the Japanese Market Coupe, fixed headlights. (Do not pop-up)
240sx is the North American Coupe & Hatchback, pop-up headlights.
Sileighty (Sil80) is the hybrid of the 180sx with a Silvia's front clip. Hence the name Sil-eighty.

It's been said that the Sil80 came into play when young drifters in Japan wrecked their car's front end in accidents on the track, or even on the road. With the Silvia's front clip being cheaper than the 180sx's, it was natural for the owners to replace it with the Silvia's front end. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's just what I've heard.

240SX-Pat I like Hatch, I'm not really a fan of coupe infact I used to think the Taillights were too damn ugly,til I saw a coupe with a silvia front now I have more respect for them. They are both awesome cars, if we are going for the looks ;

s15 front/hatch

S13 Silvia front/coupe

is the best combo for each of these cars

Jay420sx I like coupes, but Id have to say...

britishninja007 Hatch. Popup lights (the best thing ever forgotten) and hatchbacks were the two best things to happen to sports cars.

Eagles may soar, but weasels aren't sucked into jet engines.

overheating240 I love my hatch, been a fan of them since I knew what I was looking at

gismonismo The only problem I had with my last coupe was the fuel
Coupes require less mods for fuel cell or surge
Hatchs to get a fuel cell you will be require to inclose it
If you are thinking of hitting some tracks
What I did was build a cover for the fuel cell.
My friend cut the spare tire place and installed it under the car
But at the end I will have to say hatch for those yrs
Loved my instant gentleman body kit
With the right wing it is just one sexy car lol

petercheez13 i love my coupe, yea theres blind spots but the car is small so as long as your an aware driver it doesnt really matter..... More rigid i think and not as common.

RoboNismo I love both, but Hatch for me... plus you got more room in the back too... Well shiBANG!

MINT89S13 coupe ftw!

razgriz_09 hatch=more practical bc of larger trunk space and
coupe=better looking with silvia conversion

Tweak110100100 Of course they are gonna like what they have more. I personally think it's cool for the opinions

I say hatch, I used to love coupes and hate hatches and one day I saw this picture and my mind got changed

After seeing this car I'm tryingto figure out the paint color to paint my car

The hatches to me seem more old school jdm

And not to throw one below the belt for you coupe fans but didnt Nissan sell the s13 hatch for an extra generation because sales and popularity were so high? Oh wait they did and while the s13 coupe just turned to the 14 =].

word sux hatch

wayyyyyyyyy more room in the back enough for me a 6'1 210lb guy to take a nap stretched out and comfortable in the back

a little more weight in the rear so if your doing a larger motor swap rb, v8 etc it will be more balanced
05-12-2010 12:54 PM
allntrlundrgrnd and cut weight
05-11-2010 06:59 PM
mikethebiker coupes are better. because it has a sexier name. hatch sounds like an STD

and in french, coupe means cut. like we cut down our enemies, or cut through the air in our better car
05-11-2010 02:56 AM
180sxHomie To be perfectly honest I like the coupe better, but since I only have a hatch......I'm going to rep the hatch

I have a coupe and I honestly like it much better than the hatches I've been around... I prefer the style over the hatch, regardless of trunk size difference. But, that's just one man's opinion.
check it said best right here^^^

I've owned both but pick the coupe any day more sleeper look to the untrained eye, therefor less tickets.proven fact!

and I like the look better
