Just looking for some opinions on the 240sx's with Super Hicas. I ve heard that there awesome from some ppl, and junk from some others. I am not a drifter nor do I intend to drift. Im looking at parting out my 89 HB and buying a 92 HB with Super Hicas.

info: 200,000kms (about 124,000 miles)
never winter drivin
stored in winter
always proffesionally maintained

So the car is in good condition, so lets hear some opinions on Super Hicas!!!

it's a decent option for a DD. just gets real squirelly in wet or icy conditions, makes it harder to countersteer because the rear end has a partial mind of its own.

you could always take the rear-subframe off your 89, rebuild it with some new bushings, swap on the sway bar from the HICAS, and put i on the ex-HICAS car if yoiu want to change it out.

I need to eliminate my hicas because the JDM chassis harness I have, isn't for a hicas model, I don't have a hicas power steering pump on my SR, so I am wondering what is the cheapest way to disable the hicas? I know you can get the eliminator bar for like $115 then you have to get toe arms for like $200. Would it be better to swap out subframes from a 240 in the junkyard? I would think it would be cheaper, or at least in NE it would be.
