its most likely the camera, since the pictures where taken at night, the shutter has to stay open a little longer to really see the object, so any light source will be bright....

Nah,no PS, just setting i guess. My friend just got a Canon Rebal XTi,i think and we were just trying to figure it out....picutres came out alright IMO,but probably could have been way better....
