um i'm not too sure what you are asking. are you asking if you can put a ka24de in an s14? unless you live in europe or japan the s14 came with a ka24de and then if you do you should just stick with the sr20de/det that came with it.

that would def be a crazy swap. probably get in super street!

i pray this is just a 14 year old thats read a few super streets and thinks all 240sx's have sr20det's.

Yeah stock motors in 240sx's are the KA24DE's. People (like myself) put on turbo kits to make them KA24DE-T's. Not sure what the original question is about.... it's pretty easy to go google a KA24de engine shot and then look at your own engine bay or that of a stock 240 for sale.

I have to say that car you posted is pretty ricey IMO. The body kit looks horrible and the 19" rims just suck lol. Nice mildly built motor though 412 whp is probably 20-22 psi on 93 octane.

Also if you didn't make the connection, 200sx's in Europe have SR20 motors (2.0 liters) where as 240sx's in America have KA24 motors (2.4 liters) both use identical chassis (the S13 and S14 chassis, and for Europe the S15 as well).

lol actually i'm 16 and i don't think all 240sx have sr20's i no they don't.. to be honest i'm crazy bout racing and i'm saving up for a 240 and i'm jus getting sum reasearch about things n everything..but i kept hearing that u jus don't put ka24's in a 240sx.. like only the first eddition (s13) are able to hold em.. must of been talkin to peeps that don't no what they're talkin bout.. then i see ka24's in 96 240's so got me confused for a sec...but they come stock.. hah allright thx alot

i just commented on the wheels and body kit. its a nice paint color, prolly a bit too bright for me to use but its not a cliche aftermarket bright ass red or orange atleast. My comment was only directed towards the ugly bumper, sideskirts, wing, and the excessive unsprung mass and 4x4 look the 19" wheels have.

Meh i guess not greatest wording on my part sorry about that skyline15. The 89-90 240sx's in America have KA24E's stock. People often swap in KA24DE's because its pretty straightforward since its the same chassis as a 91-94 240sx (minus the fact that 94 240's were convertibles).

ALL USDM 240SX's HAVE A KA24 of some form (single cam or dual cam).

All EDM (euro) 200sx's have the same motor lineup as JDM Silvia's.

All JDM Silvia's ... shit they had a bunch of motors, CA's, SRde's, s13 SRdet's reds, s13 SRdet's blacks, s14 srdet's, and s15 srdet's. Damn they should have made up their mind. Anyways you get the idea. The reason the 240sx has such a variety of engine swaps is because the chassis is the same no matter where you go in the world, however there have been several motors built for it, not to mention all the other motors that have been cramed in there (VG30's from 300zx's, the entire RB lineup from the skylines, hell even LS1-7's from GM muscle cars/corvettes and thats only a few of the other motors people have managed to fit in.)
