lol glad to hear man.. I'm sure i will have alot of alone time with my 240.... and getting all greasy and dirty from the work that waiting to be done...

Does anyone recommend me just turbo'ing my ka24e?? and just build it from there? or just do a s14 black top swap?

after a certain amnt of time, working on your car will start to suck, after you've learned most everythimg you can.

i especially hate body work. engine work is fine though.

+1, im around that stage where i just dont really want to anymore lol, i need t o take a break from it.

bodywork is the sucksssssssss

Yeah I gotta admit it's a great learning experience. I just did the z32 rear brake/ebrake/master cylinder swap on my s14 and saved a good chunk of change. Got the rotors resurfaced for $10 each, got rear z32 hawk hps brake pads from spl for ~$80 then I had to use a slide hammer to take out the s14 hubs and install z32 hubs (the ebrake assemblies I got were designed to go with hubs that have the little tab on top) installed the z32 ebrake assemblies, rear pads and shims, r33 ebrake cables, installed the brake fitting in the z32 bmc then test fitted to the car, bent the lines, bench bled, hooked up the lines and bled all the brakes. It was a busy weekend.

I know what ya'll mean after having my 240 for 2 1/2 years working on it constantly and swapping engine and tranny (231,000 miles yay!) I finally took a 6 month break from it and bought a 89 chevy truck , but now I'm ready to go back to my 240

Ill recomend that anyday. i think the ka-t's have allot more potential than allot of people give credit for, i mean theres a reason why the ka's were in the us and the sr's were in japan... hint hint... but yeah with little internals and the right setup 350 horse is easy going ka-t! haha

i HATE working on my 240.. Of course, you would have to know the story behind why... but lets say we have a love/hate relationship... things like clutch masters and slaves... too many brake jobs, timing chain tensioners, rebuilding the entire motor top to botom... losa junk, and she still doesnt run. Gotta get my head back from the machine shop so i can fiish my rebuild.

aye, i'm startin my project this weekend.
zenki s14 =]
doesn't run, needs body work, but it's mine, and I already want to get started workin on it.
darn cheap too
