gotta start somewhere right? My 240 restoraton project

ok, well got some good news today. my 240 is finished. i should have pics up by monday night.

thanks tomtom for the spare bumper by the way.

i should have it back by friday hopefully once i get the big cash money check.

next step....body kit or aftermarket bumper. after that paint or rb!!???

quick pic from earlier on today. wasnt really impressed with the poor work they did. guess ill take my business elsewhere and get it finished right.

the bumper cover i have on there now is just for fitment so dont worry, its not staying on very long.

i ended up talking to the guy at the shop and told him to get everything straitened out for nothing more and he told me he'll have it taken care of, so i guess we'll see this weekend.

ill keep you guys updated over the next few weeks once things really start rollin.

things are somewhat at a halt right now, but i do have my car back as we speak. turns out i had a water pump go out today so that kinda cut into my budget so no aftermarket bumper... actually ive just decided to get a full body kit next check..

updates soon..

got paint set up for 2 weeks from now. laguna seca like i said. i decided not to do the two tone right away but probably once i get the side skirts and the rear bumper.

pics up once i get the bumper put on and paint pics in two weeks.

damn people, calm down about the wing /wheels. geeze. if he likes it then he likes it. but apparently he dosent. its his car, let him do what he wants. if he wants rainbow vinyls, then thats his thing. no harm done to me.but from the looks of things, it looks like this car is going to come out pretty nicely.

cant wait to see the paint and that new motor. good luck with the rb20 tho man. my friend just got one put in. its a bitch and a half finding parts and such

Ok now that im down to my final weekend im worrying about the paint job and all.. Not sure how the laguna seca is gonna turn out. Not so sure it want i want now, guess we'll see.

If anyone has some great ideas for paint colors, im really wanting the best possible blue i can find. Post up pics and the color of the car you post. Other colors welcome..... Thanks

If your going for a blue you should get a skyline R34 blue and dump some flakes in it(gold, silver, rainbow or gold and silver, its up to you).

I personally really dislike light blue's like the laguna seca blue, but its up to you. I also think darker colors look better on s13's. Maybe like a really nice silver, like a G35 silver.

or maybe a gunmetalish look like this:

I don't know just throwing some ideas out there for you. Im going to paint my car black so its not that difficult for me lol.
