I say go for it, if you can weld. Hell, it would probably be easier to just bent too pieces of pipe in an arc, weld them together, weld on a set of tabs to one end (to mount to the knuckle) and on the other end, weld on a small piece of pipe that is threaded on the inside (for the female end of the heim joint). Just make sure your welds are good...

I think the hardest part would be machining spacers to equally space the heim joint in the subframe between the mounting tabs...If you understand what I am walking about.

Dude it's worth a shot if you have the skills and the materials, you just may hit on a new trend or something.

Stock control arms are adjustable....thats how people do alignments.

The Summit offering is cool though. Mainly b/c you get a heck of a lot more adjustment....however, not having any form of bushing is a bad thing in the long run, but great for adjustment and feel b/c its so precise and solid.

Do a search on Zilvia or Freshalloy for Battle Version's new roll center adjusters for 86's and S13/14. Same sort of deal.

do any of the aftermarket rucas have bushings in them?
and yea i dont think that little camber bolt will do much when u slam a car. or when u have to tuck some deep dish 17's.

but im gonna check into the Battle Version's roll center adjusters

As far as I know the aftermarket RUCA's all have spherical bearings. The only RUCA's I've seen with bushings are the OEM with the rubber bushings and the PDMRacing OEM with polyurethane bushings pressed in.

DAMN they want 185 dollars for the batter version kit. thats hella $$$!!!!

the adjustable rod ends off of summit were only like $16 a peice for peices used for drag 4 links. and the offer them in like a billion different sizes. then with the male end rod links. all u would need is a threaded peice of pipe.

well i ordered the rod ends 2 days ago and they showed up today. (pretty quik i thought) but my dad had a guy at work machine a female end to weld into the toe arms and the rucas. and now all i need to do is weld those in place and finish boxing in the rest of the arms. i'll post pictures in the DIY section when i get done with everything.

^w/e that little short rod it called

^the peices that my dad made/ the round one was for the ruca's and the one with flat sides were for the toe rods.

i decided not to box in the ruca's since they are very stiff already. (atleast the s13) but i boxed in the toe rod since its very bendable. and and tension rod bracket since they are week. i plan on putting a peice inbetween the tension rod brackets like the power brace.

im debating on if it is worth writing out a diy for it. let me kno wat u think.
