I do too..nothing beats the sound and power (IMO) of that turbo'd inline 6.
but...I don't have the money for an RB right now.
if you'd like to donate..I wouldn't mind :supercool

looks like a decent kit. i just wish i could see wat type of bearings they are. there are regular bearings and extruded bearing.

extruded are cheaper to make but are super shitty!!!! if any little peice of trash get in them they will slowly fly apart.

and then there are the regular. like what clevite and federal mougle are.

u defintaly dont want the extruded bearings.

yah, I didn't get to post last night due to some unforseen circumstances aka downstairs of my house flooded.:tears
but yah, the engine is out, pics will be up sometime today.
tonight the teardown starts.

if you dont have to worry about illegal engines and shit go S14 SR. If you have to worry about illegal engine swaps and laws look into KA-T. Not sure how the laws out there.... I'd vote s14 sr though if you were to swap in a new engine and wanted to do things easily.

more progress today, i'm just to lazy/tired to post pics.
intake mani is off, what a bitch.
pretty much it's a bare block w/ the exception that i haven't pulled the head yet due to lack of tools lol. (jeremy that means I need to borrow a head stud wrench lol)
whenever I get the block disassembled i'll start cleanin up that God awful engine bay.

ok man when i get my suspension back under my car. (which should be this weekend) ill bring some tools over and we will teardown the rest of the block and disassemble the head. but i dont want to sound like a jerk but i need to get some work done on my car before i can devote time for helping u.

Long time coming update:
Engine is completely tore town.
Suspension will start to come apart this week.
Engine is getting sent to the machine shop thursday.
Block = decked, head = shaved, cylinders = honed, crank = inspected.
Woo, progress finally.
I am now assured a working space, my dad is buying the house we're at. Thank the Lord, I really didn't want to have to move all my stuff.
Depending on the condition of the engine will determine next step.

Pulling everything out, cleaning it up, reinforcing them, RUCAS, adjustable front lower control arms, adjustable tension rods, coilovers (eventually), just for lowering now though i'll cut the springs (call me rice I don't care, it lowers the C of G), energy suspension bushing kit,.
My goal is to have full adjustability.

The KA is at the machine shop as I am typing this.
Will be back at the end of this coming week, or the very beginning of the week after that.
I'm excited.

not rice... its stupid. a lower center of gravity isnt going to help after you screw your spring rates. an S14 with stock supension and high center of gravity will fight lateral forces much better than one with lower center of gravity and ruined spring rates. it's still the same amount of weight being thrwon around. all the people with S14's on cut springs I've talked to regret it.
