my cheap mod was changing the colors of the bulbs in the gauge cluster, amber bulbs for the gauges, a blue in the clock, and dif colors for the idiot lights i accually use :) makes the cluster look like a bmw, and it doesnt hurt your night vision on those long canyon runs.

mine was a $15 CAI made out of PVC piping will post pics soon also. as for the lil air temp sensor. if u disconnect it your car will idle somtimes in excess of 1500RPMs yes your power under WOT is noticiably increased, but gas mileage becomes a real bitch cause i can literally watch my gauge go down .

ok ok.. take the button off that you press to pop the lights off. cut the light green wire.. make sure you have enough to splice a wore back to it. then plice a wire from the cable you cut, to a toggle switch, then from the toggle switch to the button, splice it to the peice you left. if you need more help.. my aim is s13ka24e

ok FOO! :D

The VVGBC!! (Variable Vice-Grip Boost Controller)This is a nearly free mod that can REALLY increase horse power in a pinch. WARNING!!!! This is NOT for long term use and SHOULD be used sparingly. You won't believe the results though. Jr probably had a 40 hp increase at the track. You can clamp the vice grips onto the hose and adjust how tight it clamps the hose shut.(NOT all the way shut) This restrcts the airflow and does basically the same thing as costly controllers ...just not as precisely.

wouldnt it be pimp to rig up a "wink" eye kinda thing... like, if you were parked and some hot number goes walking in front of you.. hit the wink button.

just press the button a lot. if you time it right it gets confused, and often winks and stuff.

take off front plate (weight reduction/looks cool)
take off nissan signs and put some molding (same)
add stickers; nismo, aem, greddy, apex, sr20, etc. (very high hp gains)
cut your springs (less air going under the car/looks nice)
strip ac if u have one
strip air filter and replace with a sock or 2 (custom intake and filter)
:)
God i hope you were joking.

i wired my sleepy eye set up into a spare headlight button.
and put it in the slot where i should have cruise control.
so i have two headlight buttons. push the upper, lights go up. hit the lower then the upper again lights stay up.
now i can double click the lower button to have speedier control of the lights on the way down.
i demonstrated the procedure at an importfanatix.com meet.
very effective and much more clean then a toggle switch duct taped to the dash

If you want to go cheap, a turbo mustang guy ran window screen and pantyhose for an air filter because the turbos were too close to his fenders. I would suggest Seafoam and a tuneup
