lol, turbo510. The 240sx was originally mine. My brother's co-worker gave it to me for free. I sold it to my friend for $240 and bought it back for $50.

slappy, I plan on spending absolutely no money on this project. I already have the shell, the donor car, and about two 240sx's worth of spare parts. This project is just going to be a template to practice my fabrication skills. I wouldn't care if I fucked it up. Both cars are pieces of shit, anyways.

oh , ok..

good luck.

wow, you've flipped flopped hardcore since I talked to you last lol. I thought you were going to put the DOHC engine from the new 240 into the 50 dollar one, and then install the built one after taking care of the rust....jeez. Let me know when you're going to be working some more on it, I'd like to help wrench for a while.

What did you do to the cutlass beforehand? You have wayyy to many cars bro.

Yea, I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Too many cars and not enough time/money. I'm checking out turbo510's m30 today. Always wanted to build one of those, lol. Rob was telling me to just buy one really nice car instead of wasting my time with a bunch of shitty cars, or at least build up the cutlass to baller status.

We were trying to replace my valve cover gaskets on my cutlass because it was leaking oil onto my exhaust manifolds. We started polishing the valve covers since they're already out.

haha, I was looking at the m30 too and thinking "damn, that would be a hella nice daily driver, after I sell my maxima." I'm sure that car will clean up well.

Let me know about that m30, if you don't want it but think its decent, I might have to pick it up instead. I did want something to tow with though...

sweet z! Is this the one your cousin crashed? You should take it back and fix it up.

Found out the z31 na tranny and the 240sx tranny are exactly the same which means that I can use the stock tranny crossmember/mount and the stock driveshaft. All I have to do is make new motor brackets to get it in (easier said than done). Also, the VG has a crossover pipe going behind the engine. Nissan left a lot of room behind the engine to allow easier access to it. I'm really hoping the z31 bellhousing is longer than a 240sx, or else, that'll mean that crossover pipe is going straight into my firewall.
