i just bought a 1992 sx and right now its red. paint is faded but i really like the color. its getting painted in a couple of weeks so i want some recomendations on what color i should paint it. should i repaint it red or different color? please post pics if you can. thanks. also, should i keep the stock wing spoiler(the really small one on the trunk) or should i get rid of it?

yeah, its a hatchback. im new to 240sx's so i dont really know the difference between fastback and hatch back exept of the 4 weel steering.
the fastback is the same thing as the hatch back,nissan refered to the car as a fastback but due to hinge location it is technically a hatch. 4 wheel steering came only on a few hicas models and the only thing different in COUPES and F/B that i have seen is h.u.d.

I'd repaint it the same color unless your paying out the ass to get the whole car repainted...or else u'll have hott pink on the outside and red on the inside. Def get rid of that stupid foam spoiler, but you'll prolly have to repair alot of rust spots when you do that.

what color you should paint your car is not a noob question...it's like asking what you should wear to dinner with your family tonight
what you need to do is look at various car pictures and see what looks good to you...then come up with a few colors you would like to see on your car, and choose one

its much more of a personal opinion, pretty much no point of asking it on the forum
although if u have limited down to 2 or 3 color, you could ask people to post a pic of their car in that color

The fastbacks look best in black IMO. I don't like when the car and the hatch are different colors.
