alright so i was out the other night and it was decently cold ~65 degrees farenheit. well anyway i was running about 10-11 lbs of boost, when all of a sudden during a 3rd gear pull, my car started bucking and hesitating. I looked down and i was getting 10.6 A/F on my wideband which leads me to believe that is the cause of my problem.

my question is, will tuning help correct this problem if I want to keep running higher boost? Obviously im getting enough fuel as its not leaning out, so it should be rather safe to keep running that boost, I just want to make sure tuning is about all i'd need. thanks!

no1 has anything for me? lol

Depending on your mods and what not, tuning is probably your best bet but its not cheap unless you know how to do it yourself. Any tuning shop should help you anyways.

yea i can get a tune for 100 around me, but i dont think im done modding yet, so ill just run stock boost to be safe

im using a profec-b, I have V clamps on my ic setup as well

i was running .85 bar on the stock turbo safely w/o any driveability issues, but at .9bar it would exhibit that same issues you're having.....not consistently, but a decent amount of the time

are u running a fuel press reg if so double check your settings maybe your just a lil high on the pressure and gettin too much fuel

Drop the gap on your spark plugs, or change them out if they are fouled.

+1, and also check the plugs too like said before and check for boost leaks also.

There is no need to tune a stock turbo RB the factory ECU can handle it just fine.

funny you say that, same thing happens to my car as well. seems these issues are related to colder weather..

I have new plugs gapped to whatever the 300zx tt plugs come with

Drop the gap...make it about .025 -.028. Cleared the problem I was having right up.

lol you were blowing the spark out...
