Any zenki lighting advancements

so i just bought the glass headlights, so that means i have some extra USDM lights hanging around. lemme know if u guys want them so you can use them in your lens upgrade projects..

the passenger side was replaced new a few years back when my sister got in a fender bender so its pretty damn clear, but the driver is somewhat faded despite my attempts to restore it.

Good attempt to hijack the thread. Dont post in here unless its productive or praise for the lesnes that were just made. Try the for sale section of the forums.

my apologies.

that was not my intention, i saw that there were people making molds here and what not, so i was contributing my parts to their cause.

and yes, those clear lenses are pretty spiffy.

lol last time i checked this is a zenki lighting thread... he was giving/selling (couldnt really tell which he meant) available lenses to somebody so that they could make molds. I agree if he had listed a price or something like that then it would belong in a FS thread but here he was letting ppl interested in the project know that he has them available.

This isn't just a "worship spenc" thread... though it should be after all this progress he's made lol

Way OT. Anyway, i just rolled upon 3 j30 in a jy and they were all untouched....
this means ive got three sets of projectors to slip in with some kinky clear lenses. talk about slippin into something more comfortable....

got a little more practice in and finally did a real set to make sure i can work out all the kinks. there are a couple vital areas that need to be molded well in order for fitment to be good around the grill and corner lamps etc. but im still really close to have something to sell. what i might end up doing is making the lenses and selling them at different prices depending on how well they turned out. without further wait here are some finished shots.

used some waterproof aluminum tape to seal it, it was rather solid. i'm still figuring out what the best way to seal them up will be for everyone, so stay tuned.

this was the best solution since we were pressed for time. the tape is weatherproof and easily removable but could even be used permanently. this is probably the easiest way to seal them up, silicone is messy, and reusing the butyl sealant is probably a bad idea if you want to take the lenses off because the heat could deform them.

Some matchin corners would look sick. One thing at a time though.

The lenses look better and better.....use the sealing option i talked to you about on aim....i think it would work very well and would be very oem ....Keep up the good work..
