my si used to sound like that with just a cold air, now 60k miles later (103k) it dont hit so hard :(

I'll never get sick of hearling that sound.

I hate to admit this but sometimes while pushing my grocery cart, I make VTEC noises. :eek::gaylaugh

A lot of people don't know that VTEC isn't supposed to KICK in. If turned properly, it should be a smooth transition. Honda detuned the Civic Si because people wanted to feel the "kick". :(

it kicks, cause its a b16, they all crack hard yo.

jdm b16, del sol b16, si b16.

gs aaaaaaaaaaaaargh cracks twice haha i love that one.

it sounds even better when your chasing a vtec car uphill.

its not just the vtec that makes it loud. its a gsr, they have the split intake manifold with butterfly's.

^True but it opens @ 5700 while vtec kicks in @ 4400 so I only hear it get loud once and thats @ vtec, not so much the secondaries, maybe he has stage 3 Cams Intake mani and full engine-back exhast

screw all that i like the sound of my RB25 when it spools my GT3076R and it crosses over to the vvl side and all those vtech boys can do is watch me pop fireballs out my exhaust as i pull further and further away

BTW what can you max the 3076 @?

I was told 550 but I'm sure it can reach 600 right?

ill let you know even though i prob wont go over 550 since my injs will be maxed at that point...
