Yea, from the reviews I've read, these gauges aren't spot-on accurate. And yes, this 240sx definitely needs a lot of work!

Another problem with these gauges is that the oil pressure sensor is huge! Here's a pic of my tunertoys oil sending unit alongside the prosports oil pressure sensor and the stock sensor.
Image

Installed on the engine. The sensor is right against the engine bracket. There's about 1mm of space between the sensor and the oil filter! I don't know what I'm going to do about routing my turbo oil line. Looks like the intake support bracket has to go! Anyone know if it's really necessary?

Also, removed a inner fender. You can see the marks where the z31 wheels were rubbing.

I'm also scrapping my z31 turbo plans. One of my friends is hooking me with a garrett t3/t4 for only $200. :supercool

if i can get the windshield out of my car do you want it?

car is going to the scrap yard sometime next week.

i was gonna just give it to you......but it cracked :(

I can't believe how many updates I missed...but the most important, t3/t4 for 200? I'm very jealous.

Do you wanna work on my car this week? I'm fuggin coming home today to CT...I can't wait to work on my car again.

Yea, I'm buying it off a fellow classmate who supposedly has a 400+hp civic. He was like "yea, I'm not looking to make a lot of money off of it. I'm pretty much using it as a paperweight right now so I'll let you have it for $200."

I'll let you know my schedule by the end of tonight so I can drop by and hopefully get that car running again!

Josh - someone noticed lol. I guess if I looked close enough at the pic I could have seen the tape.

I still can't believe I didn't notice when I took a ride in it.

Picked up a couple of goodies this week.

Silvia seats. Not digging the zebra stripes, but I traded one highback for them so I'm not complaining.

RPS Max Street came in which I found out is a modified exedy clutch.

ProSport boost gauge arrived. Yep, I'm going to install it even though I'm not boosted yet. Bite me!

Also, got a set of steelies and 7-spokes with some tread left for free and I just ordered Stance GR+ Pro coilovers (sweet groupbuy on zilvia).

Also, installed another radiator (cracked the original) and a nismo thermostat.

The radiator I was putting in is an automatic so I had to plug the extra lines with some jb weld and bolts. Ghetto, but it does the job.

Cracked radiator out:

Swapped the water neck off the built engine. Sadly, it's the cleanest thing in my engine bay right now.

Now my temp rarely goes past 170F, unlike before where it would hit 230F.:1duh

you didnt have to plug those at cooler lines.

if they are not hooked up, there will be nothing flowing throw them or leaking out.

Where'd you find those wheels for free? I've been looking all over for SE 7spokes.

And Stances? WOW, you made up your mind quick. How much did you get them for? (pm me if you want that secret, or just let me know tomorrow).

And that cracked radiator sure did make Tuesday night fun.

Oh, and I didn't tell you this, my clutch is officially broken in. I almost got pulled over though doing my first ever second gear pull in the 240 haha. That would have sucked. Now it's just up to the rear suspension, and it's time to rip.

The 7-spokes use to be mine. They came off my '91. I gave them to Kevin and Kevin traded it for a sound system. The guy who owns them now is selling his car so I asked for them back. I may sell them if you're interested.

I picked up the coilovers for $1250 shipped. Kinda regret it, though. That money shoulda went to the cutlass. I took it out for a drive and damn, that thing tears up asphalt easily!

Hurry up and fix that suspension! I have no one to tear shit up with now. Kevin's in NJ, Ben's car is spiking to 30psi+ :eek4:, and Rob's a pussy :greddy:
