No thanks, overall it was a great experience. If there is a problem in the future, maybe then.

The categorizing system is simple enough but it would be nice if the numbers were large and placed on the side of your car like scca that way you and they will know when your group is up and in what order since there are so many 240sx's that participate it looked a bit confusing. Instead of leaving it to the participants; in an scca event an official would line-up the groups to avoid any issues in terms of people forgetting orders or trying to cheat thier place in line. If the class system is of rookie-pro style than it doesn't benefit beginners but it's understandable to me because it showed that you needed to work and earn your way to the top. It's more of tough love respect is given when it's earned type of deal.

On the other-hand these drift events are still somewhat new, you don't have a national organization backing you up. There is no rulebook or guidelines and therefore there isn't much discipline or organization. When I was asking as to where I can stand to take photos one event worker would tell me one thing and another person would tell me something to the contrary.

Overall I liked the vibe actually, it was a free for all type of event. Most of the people were cool and call me crazy but the somewhat cluttered feeling made it feel really homegrown/underground, it was laid back and wasn't anal retentive like the scca can be when it comes to tech inspection for example. You're either going to hate it or love it. There were people with stock cars and stock suspension running, every fc there was n/a and what many were able to do with so little power was impressive. There wasn't a show-car look at me type of vibe at all and the few that were there just for that probably didn't get the attention they wanted.

Sounds kinda fun...i guess...i will go next month and check it out for my self...whos all going so we can kinda plan and get everything ready and organized a bit a head of time...do they have a place to put new tires on rims or do u have to bring a set of both tires and rims? cause if i need another set of rims then ill need to get them from a salavage yard. but i will def go next month

No dammit , im afraid of being in a sea of cones and them all looking the same as you said here......

The cones were sparsely laid to border the course, which is very confusing because at 50mph and sideways, they all look the same. I had just a microsecond to figure out which two of twenty identical cones that I was supposed to go through.

I am so excited that i am going to finally get the 5 speed in...i cant wait cause it will take some stress off of me...

Frank-did u say that we will start tommorrow a little bit or wat? i forgot because i was busy out and about getting some more thing like the shifter and shifter boot, a cupling/double female fastener to link the 2 brake lines together for the clutch line and then brake fluid, and some other tool to makie the bulg at the end of the brake line so the bolt doent slide off? LoL i am forgetful...I am pretty sure that i have everything once i get conformation from u that i do that will also releive me of some stress...and thanks again for moving me up so we can get this done!!

heres a list of what i have:
1-5 speed trans/crossmember
2-5 speed drive shaft
3-Clutch kit w/ throw out bearing, alinment tool and the copper thing(for got name of it
4-flywheel w/ bolts(resurfaced)
5-slave/master cylinders
6-clutch pedal
7-rear main seal stuff/ trans o ring
8-brake line for clutch line/brake fluid / thread sealer for a tight seal
9-shifter, shifter boot, short throw shifter already attached
10-a stomach ach cause i wanna get it done...LoL JK...but wanna really get it done

where can i get a good LSD from...i know that they are expensive but i wanna find a place to get the as cheap as possible but a good brand...

Ok, ill ask then..sell me your wheels...lol

why not just get your open welded?
Cause welded diffs sux for dd cars. A welded diff is to an LSD , what cut springs are to coilovers..did i say that right?

Anyway...Just watched the new Top Gear Polar Challenge...freakin insane.Did anybody notice the names on all the credits????

Yep, I like that analogy. In addition, a welded differential is not a (LSD) limited slip differential. It is a locked axle. Lockers are good for 4wd trucks that require maximum traction. Personally, I'd rather have an open differential.

You are just dropping it off today, and I am checking to make sure everything is there. Before we start anything I wan to make sure we won't be waiting on any parts. I don't have time or room for your car to be sitting in the garage.

Remember between 1 and 2.
