:12dunno:12dunno:12dunnoOk Ive talked to you guys before and you were all really helpful so maybe you can help me out again, lets do this one at a time. Im not looking for the answer to everything just some idea, troubleshooting, etc unless you know what to do. :12dunno
I own a 1993 240sx, EXCEPT it has the 97 motor. I recently did a transmission/clutch/flywheel swap on my car. I asked around and heard that any transmission/clutch/flywheel combo works on any year motor from a 240 I.e, 97 motor 93 transmission clutch and flywheel. ???:12dunno
So anyways I have a 97 motor, 93 transmission/stage 2 clutch not oem/ and lightened flywheel, it drives, but not great. after the swap we bleed the clutch and its still not as snappy as it should be its really but usually if i depress it once or twice it will stop for the time being. Aside from bleeding the clutch ( I am really not familiar with hydraulic clutches) is there any mechanism or linkage that could be causing this? Or could it just possibly be the wrong clutch or just not set up right?
The motor also has an aftermarket dc header, however where the o2 sensor out it came out for whatever reason so they simply welded over it so I have to take it off drill and tap it to put it in, my question, where does the cable from o2 sensor run to from the header? or where can i get a new cable or diagram or schematic my chilton really wasnt helpful... Then theres the o2 sensor after the downpipe, where does that cable run? i think it runs to the speed sensor or whatever on the transmission ( the only cut plug on it after the swap) is this correct? in this case should i buy a new plug for the transmission to connect to the 02 sensor because i heard that its pretty important that the wire and sheathing is in good condition for an o2 sensor to work properly?:tears
ok ya and my cd player i can hook it up right but all the speakers have + and - and a preamp and shit idk or wtf im talking about but anyways i can get it to work but its always running constant how to hook the wires to stop it from running constant if that makes sense? How do i deal with the + and - wires and illumination/power and that stuff because im doing something wrong thats real dumb
I hope this makes sense and you guys can help me out or point me in the right direction:thumbsup:crazyrant
