I just picked up some ES300 lexus headlights so i have 4 projectors now to retrofit into my Zenki lights.... problem though they are joined housings where the lights are staggered. Heavy cutting will be required and i'll need to make a nice cover for them so the fuglyness is toned down but what the hey...

Check this out for some ideas guys..

looks like a difficult task haha. you might consider only using the high beam projectors from the lexus lamps and trading the low beam projectors for something a little newer. oem projectors from 2000 up are usually higher quality and better engineered to yield better output, intensity, and width.

So, the price is $100 + shipping? I'm interested, I want a pair, include me in the list please, PM me for payment instructions and just an estimate for the shipping date please

Good work!! just read the 21 pages

Thanks

wtf all these people joining just for the headlamp covers. how bad is your pm/email now man.

if you had read all 21 pages you would know that there is no estimate on time it is whenever he gets to it.

The es300 lights were 40$ from the local junkyard and i expected to get 4 separate projector buckets outta them. Gonna cut them this weekend and see what i end up with.

K's, do ya think the projector will offer even less output than my stock buckets? Even so, my HBeams are really great, I'll only upgrade them if i get silly, I'm in this for the LBeam upgrade, but i know that i will lose the focus pattern when i put your covers on but i don't expect it to be a big deal. The LB projector HIDs will likely make my HB superfluous.

If these ES lights suck i'll eventually change them out for good'uns.

Any pics of your past retro's or friends?

zoniko added. it could take up to two months to fill your request. please read post 450 and the rest of the thread for more information about pricing etc. no pair of lenses will be the same quality of another, so pricing will reflect quality.

i wouldn't use the es300 projectors if you are looking for good lighting. the zenki reflectors are probably better. newer japanese projectors would be better, say mdx if you want to stick to halogen.

why would u even use bulbs that high 4300k gives the most output after that it starts to deteriorate
