**** that!

I'm very anti-S-VIP

It looks good. then i see the wheels and just shake my head.
Looks like crap!

If they put better wheels on there it would look 50X better.

I see those wheels enough around my neighborhood on the biggest beaters.

They-Do-Not-Belong-On-240SX/SILVIA's!!!!

i love the VIP look or the supermade kit.

Hey guys, I know the debate is sorta dead here but the style of most of the commuter or sports cars that are "VIP Styled" and have performance upgrades is known in Japan as "LUX" or "LugDori". It means a mix of Luxury style and drift style or performance. That is the premise in which I styled my S13.4 vert you saw a couple pages back when it was built in 2006. If you notice it carries a mix of luxury items integrated with race or tuner parts. And trust me, the cars are not built just to show. They are the best of both worlds. The leaders in this field in Japan are companies such as Super-Made and 326Power which have already been talked about previously in this thread.

Falken Tire USA has embraced this style and taken it a step further and coined the term "Autoluxury" which is a style that can be applied to any car that has VIP type dress up styling as well as go fast bits. They believe in the trend so much that they already had a SEMA booth full of Autoluxury styled cars at the 2006 SEMA show. At the booth you could see everything from an air ride technologies slammed Honda FIT to a 360 Ferrari outfitted in FABULOUS wares and their specifically designed Autoluxury tire, the FK-452.

Once your done browsing the 240sxforums.com site and If you have interest in this style you can also view and chat about it at www.autoluxurystyle.com
