SSSOOOOOO, who is gonna be the first person to swap in the all new,not even out yet, "r35" usdm skyline gtr motor into the s-chassis?!:humper
erm... when the RB26 came out the same year as the S13 debut'ed... People were still tinkering with 280zx's at that point, there was no aftermarket for the S13 yet. It was more like people with 280zx's were wondering how to swap the RB in. Then again the lack of electronics and the presence of a RWD tranny that would adapt perfectly made that swap incredibly simple compared to the VH38.i bet thats what they said when the first rb26 came out too...
but to all there own opinion
yes, != means not equal^ that "!=" meant to be a "=/=" (aka does not equal)?
to the OP..... the VH38 or w/e the GT-R's motor is going to be called will probably never be put in a S chassis. stupid question.
The new GTR chassis code is R35lul..... r35? talking about the g35? the r chassis is dead..... thats the only "usdm skyline" ever in the states.... the new GT-R is no longer associated with the skyline legacy... hence its deviation from all traditions the skyline had. Skyline and GT-R are 2 seperate production lines now.
And I doubt anyone will take a motor out of there because the motor will be more expensive then everything else on the car and fabrication. If you can get the motor your better off spending those 15k on a new car.
