cause it didnt need domed pistons to reach that level of compression...just a shallower dish....they were close to being flat tops but not quite if i remember correctly we had them remove 10-15cc of dish in the piston...here is the formula used to calculate the ratioit looks really complicated but its not just plug in the known numbers and it will give u what u want....

The ratio is calculated by the following formula:

, where
b = cylinder bore (diameter)
s = piston stroke length
Vc = volume of the combustion chamber (including head gasket). This is the minimum volume of the space into which the fuel and air is compressed, prior to ignition. Because of the complex shape of this space, it usually is measured directly rather than calculated.

reason i got ahead of myself was i was kinda stoned trying to figure out how stroking a ka would work where you would still keep th same total cc's of the motor lol. way too big of a brain teaser at that point, i need to not say shit when im faded lol

nice man hurry up and get it in the car im anxious to see what it puts down.

mm nice what intake mani are you running i forgot

lol i just figured that out from another thread lol. Too bad ams never finished makin theirs, i saw o&j performances mani and it looks SICK, i think if i ever do a ka ill check them out let me know how that xcessive one works.

interesting so how close are you now to getting it out on the street.
