Suweet Randy !!! i think i'm free this weekend i might drive up and see how she looks in person if your going to be around .
hey man that would be awesome! I have to work 1pm to 9pm saturday so if you wanted to leave out real early and get here before I go to work that would be killer.

Btw, the motor is in great shape - runs ultra smooth.

The coil packs from which infinitis will work...Just wondering? The j30?
J30 diff + axles with 240 cover will fit 240sx, but for the coilpacks, it's from cyl 1&2 on a 90-93 q45 - i may be wrong on the years.

When I get my 16x8's ordered, Ill trash my stock 15's for you guys!

I can't get traction in the rain to save my life. I have to start in 2nd.. it's sluggish and as soon as boost hits, it just lites them up!

lol yeah, i got some 195/60's on there right now.. very ugly, but the tires are new so screw it, ill spend my money elsewhere for now.

Noob! Learn to drive!!!!

hahaha jk. Yea its a real bitch to drive in the rain when boost kicks in so fast. Thats why you have to shift ultra fast so you dont get any wheel spin otherwise your wheels will be going but you wont haha. Get wider tires for traction!! Cause the stock 240 wheels are garbage lol.

But stock wheels are cheap to replace when I smash one sliding around a corner lol!

My friend has some sportmaxx 002's on his coupe, they are very popular, but oh so sexy when slammed.

So I got a few small things that I need to fix:

I'm getting terrible gas mileage - around 15 mpg or so
I have a small fuel leak from the supply side and can't get it to go away, i've tried three different clamps, so im thinking the fule line is too big and not sealing all the way or the nipple to the fuel rail is bad.
Chassis squeaks under hard braking, most of it is due to the fact I dont have the left support cradle bolted up
Sway bar doesn't have an end link on the passenger side, so it taps the oil pan sometimes - no good.
The car smells like gas, prob due to that gas leak or the shitty pump pickup that is sealed by silicon - so if anyone has a good spare, let me know.
the clutch is still iffy.. It doesn't feel like it should, maybe it just needs to be broke in more!

Can't really help you out on all them issues you got but at least you know what you gatta fix which is important.

Dude your PM inbox is full, you should delete a couple messages in there.

Anyway sounds like your project is coming along nicely. Sounds like lots of little BS to take care of still but nothing too major.

Have you had a chance to drop that RB power steering bracket in the mail?

I think he should subscribe so he can have more inbox space lol. And dont worry about that bracket. Im sure he wont rip you off or anything. Hes a good guy.

Yeah Mello, I had the bracket ready to ship out, then my brother found all the bolts in the garage! So Im going to put them together for you! Should be there soon.

Between school, working 2 jobs, trying to get my car running since it's the only one I have and saving for college tuition, it's been busy, but ill get that bracket out in a jiffy. Thanks again for being so patient.

Good news, I found some guys in town that finally know their stuff, not fast&furious wannabes.

The one guy is familiar with DSMS and is awesome at tuning, so his going to start looking into Nissan stuff for me and see what he can do.

Thanks for the update on the bracket looking forward to it. Send me a PM when u get it shipped

GL on the tuning. The R32 ecu is pretty easy to tune if you have access to an EEPROM burner and if you get a zif socket soldered onto the board. LMK if you want some links.

kinda silly to pay someone who's never tuned these motors when someone who has done so is no more than 20 min from you... :p

Are you willing to do it for free carl haha. Maybe you could meet up with this guy, he's running ostrich on his 90 eclipse, he looks like he knows what he's doing.

Also the car is in primer! It turned out awesome, nice and smooth finish. I used maybe 2 cups to do the whole car. I had only taped off the passenger side because that is all I had planned on doing last night, but I had so much left over, I sprayed some on the drivers side - so there is a little over spray. O well, nothing a razor blade and laquor thinner can't fix!

As for the color, im thinking of using a scion color. Most of you guys have probably seen it, it's a silverish blue color - looks super nice.

I have some tein springs in the garage I got real cheap to fix the hideous stock ride height, so next I may get some new wheels and tires. All my wheels and tires are mismatched and it's really annoying.

lol, nothing is for free man...you should know that.
just because he's worked on a dsm ecu doesnt mean he knows the nissan ecu...they're quite diffrent as ive dabbled in the dsm arena a little.
the nissan ecu is MUCH more advanced.

Im sure they are very different. I just though it was cool he would be willing to look into nissan stuff for me yet I barely know the guy.

When are we going to meet up Carl? i still gotta check out your car so I can realize my car is so much slower. haha

Have you ever heard of Ostrich for the dsm 4g63 deal? His setup was pretty trick. And for a stock 16g turbo, that thing is incredibly quick.
