I have seen a write-up on putting s14 rear seats in an s13 and I thought it was on this site but I cannot find it anywhere. I've searched 3 times and even scoured NICO, Zilvia, and freshalloy.com. Does anyone know where this write-up is?

I've already got the seats. I got all four seats, seatbelts, and some other stuff yesterday. I just can't find the article about installing it. I could figure it out, but there is some customizing that I would've liked a guideline for.

i tried it, and maybe with a lot of work it could be possible, but all the mounting stuff is wrong, and i'm pretty sure they're actually slightly wider than the s13 seats. probably be more worth it to re-cover your old seats.

the guy i bought them from said they'd fit in not prob, and i believed him like a fool, without doing extra research. i'd say skip it and sell the seat you bought.

I'm under no delusion that they bolt in. I actually bought the set for the fronts but since my back seat is covered with a blanket I just wanted to replace it. I know there was a How-To somewhere and I can't believe that I am the only one who remembers it. I'm still looking for it but I'm just gonna go for it tomorrow.

actually I have seen it as well, but forgot where
there is definitely modification needed

you maybe have to switch the hinges on the back part?

as for the bottom, just stuff that fucker in there.

i mean i really dont see the point of doing that. s13's really dont have a back seat
cause he wants his fronts and rears to match. not a bad concept.

Well the matching thing and the fact that I do torture people occationally with a ride in the back. Only if they really need it or I really don't like them. I mainly want to keep a back seat for all the shit I always carry around.
And I wouldn't make such a big deal about it if I didn't already have the seat.

Just to update:
I have decided that the bottom back seat will take some real thinking on my part so I am going to roll that around for a bit. The top just needed two 3" metal plates to extend the brackets to reach and I just shoved the old bottom back in for now.
The fronts went in perfectly. Will be very happy with them when I get some conditioner on them because they are hard as a rock right now. If anyone has any suggestions for softening them I would love to hear them.
The s14 seatbelts are the best money I have spent on the entire car! I suggest this to everyone even if your autos work.

And if anybody wants any of this stuff PM me. I just hate throwing car parts away.

Ok, does anybody know a good way to soften the leather seats? The conditioner I was gonna use has separated and I don't think its gonna work.
Saddle soap, soak a cloth like a torn sheet. Now take the wet rag and lather it up on the soap. Rub the mixture into the seat keeping the rag wet and full of soap and the seats will soften it up. The seats should feel damp when finished. Take a dry cloth and rub off any soap left on the surface. Plan to do this in the summer time because the drying process is slow. You can also sit on some clean sheets until the seats dry out. The leather will now be more pliable.
