People put their LP's in the windshield because tbh, Who wants to drill into a nice brand new freshly painted front bumper that you just paid $400+ for. Defiantly not me.

actually my locks don't work, when i got the car it was in bits and pieces and the locks are fubar on driver & passenger side

damn I never heard of a cop worrieing about something like that, and you have the rite not to have your car searched its one of the admenments. Just tell them to fuck off that you don't ever give consent to your car being searched. And if they keep pressing you roll your winds up lock your keys in your car and get out. lol...I dont think that would work but It would prove the point. Its bull shit they shouldn't be able to just search your fuckin car like that. Bunch of haters
Believe it or not the constitution says nothing about searching a car :eek4: crazy right? What it does say is that your protected from unreasonable search and seizure. In some occasions the police are allowed to search your car without your consent. Your best bet is to never consent to having your car searched. If an officer illegaly searches it and finds something incriminating they cannot use it in court because of the exclusionary rule.
Locking the key in your car is dumb.

hahah.. that would be funny but i always carry a spare key in my wallet anyway =]
I just let him do what he wanted because I was sure there was nothing in the car.
Later her told me I should vacumn my car because there is "residue"
when I asked what kind, he said marijuana, which is funny, because I myself dont smoke, or carry anything, nor do my friends. Its whatever, no ticket, just a hassle, im pretty sure it was just one of the few leaves that somehow got into my car crumbled up on the side of my seat from my feet.
First time I was ever in Montgomery county, and I had my mexican friend, and his black girl friend with me, we were driving her to work, she ended up being late, even after we told the cops that, but they even pulled out my head unit to search the car, it was ridiculous.
Oh and im an 18 year old white kid who was wearing glasses at the time, and my windows have no tint, car has stock exhaust, just red, with the kouki spoiler lol

I agree, I got pulled over one time just b/c I had my LP mounted on my windshield, another time I got my car and me searched after getting pulled over for not using my blinker to make a turn. Rediculous I know. I let him search the because I knew I've never had anything illegal in my car. You do have the right to keep them from searching, but then you'll have to wait for them to bring out a search dog, so I didnt think it was worth the hassel. I've honestly long lost all respect for cops. I live in Kansas City, MO by the way.
