My S13.5 build- UPDATED
Hey there. I got a 240 with a CA18 under the hood. I picked up the car as someone elses project car. So....with that being said, there is a lot of work that needs to be done.
My Plans.
I just recieved my Origin s13.5 Conversion Fenders to replace his crappy ebay ones.
Rebuild the CA, and eventually sell it...and drop in the LS2 in my garage.
Fix up the rear wide body...The quarter panels were HACK SAWED...and NOT folded back by the previous owner.
Prime and Paint...its what I do for a living, so thats the easy part.
New Interior.
Front mount Intercooler...
Stainless steel piping all in the engine bay.
Exhaust
Suspension
This is really a thread for re-doing the body work. I wont be focusing too much on the engine in this thread.
Here is how I got it.
Looks can be decieving.
The Fenders only had 3 bolts holding them on. The Radiator was missing support, and was filled with only water...SMART for an old CA ya..know...cast iron block...not rebuilt...just GREAT for it eh? *sigh*
I took of the rear bumper here...look at those mounts?? And yes..thats a cherry bomb exhaust..*sigh*
Now, he had the wide body WOOD screwed on...*sigh* I replaced those with Rivets from work.
Here are some pics of the fenders and bumper removed..awaiting the origins..
I will update as time permits...Im slapping on the fenders I HOPE..tomorrow.
